Mouth odour is dealing seriously with some malabites and malabresses. My friend in the medical school calls it HALITOSIS. It's a very ugly condition that leaves most people very embarrassed and in many cases the 'victims' aren't aware of what that can do. Some of the causes are:

1. Eating foods like beans, vegetable soup and foods with much garlic or onion contents without brushing afterwards.

2. Poor dental hygiene.

3. Smoking and any other form of tobacco.

These are just some of the basic causes of mouth odour, but the good news is that they can be prevented. Some of the tips for preventing mouth odour are:

TIP 1: Brush at least twice a day with a fluoride preferably after meals.

TIP 2: When brushing, focus on your tongue area for about 10 mins.

TIP 3: Do not foods with excessive proteins and fats. If you do, make sure you remove all particles from your mouth.

TIP 4: If you're not comfortable with your breath, make sure you go about with some sweets.

Not only can they be prevented, they are some ways to check your 'breath status'.

1. Lick your wrist and wait for four seconds for the saliva to dry, then smell it. What do you smell? That's exactly how your breath smells.

2. Use a spoon and scrap your tongue. Look at the substance you scraped. Now smell it. How does it smell? Well, that's how your breath smells like.
